Wednesday, April 14, 2010. With slight change of plans, we have come back to HCMC several hours early. This has given the students a chance to get one last shop at the local market. Saying that, it seems that some of the staff have run out of money. Overall, this has been a fantastic trip, quite an adventure to see the whole country, from close to the Chinese border, down to Mekong Delta, which borders with Cambodia.

Sunday, April 18, 2010. What an amazing experience I have had. Seventeen days surviving in a country totally different to New Zealand; it was like nothing I ever imagined and I loved every minute of it! So that was interesting but a good experience. I especially enjoyed cooking school and learning about all of the traditional Vietnamese flavours. Sunday, April 11, 2010. Saturday, April 10, 2010. Monday, April 19, 2010. Some photos of our mascot in the Bangkok airport. Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Yesterday, we went on a peaceful boat trip down the Mekong Delta. The Delta was lined with many houses and a church. It was amazing watching them make popcorn, which tasted really nice! Further down the river we stopped at a restaurant for lunch.
