I will try to explain the way I tried improving public speaking and my motivation for it. There is no magic trick to it and hence I will not try to provide one. The effort requires enthusiasm, confidence and dedication to practice. Competence in public speaking can be compared to using a lift. You get in at level 1 and then slowly go to the upper levels. What are these levels? 2 Making mistakes and getting disappointed. 3 Persisting, doing well and gaining confidence. 4 Becoming competent in presenting.
