I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma. With a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2004 and later a Masters in Education with a focus on Social Studies curriculum. I taught 7th grade science my first year and then 3rd grade for two years in Oklahoma. I moved to Utah in 2008 and had the opportunity to teach 5th grade at Brookwood Elementary in the Canyons School District for 4 years.
