Born in Hamilton, Ontario, I grew up in the small town of Ancaster. For the past 36 years I have lived in Simcoe County. Worked for CN Rail, Equipment Department as a carman from 1971 to 2004. Started wood carving in 1985 when I joined the Barrie Wood Carving Club. I believe wood carving is a developmental art form and have been active in promoting my art through teaching and displaying my work at festivals and shows. From 2006 to 2012, I volunteered at the Askenno.
